Artemis is a neighborhood cat. Residents were suspicious she was hiding her kittens. To gain her trust, I started feeding her hoping to eventually trap and spay her. During this time however, I got the chance to help some community cats with TNR (trap-neuter-return) so I began trapping. While trapping, one neighbor discovered two kittens in their yard that resembled Artemis. I believed they were hers.
After successfully trapping, spaying, and returning Artemis, I spotted another kitten! To my surprise, this led to the discovery of a new litter of four kittens. I managed to trap two of the four kittens that day. I then realized the remaining two kittens were following Artemis. It became clear that these four kittens were indeed her kittens and the two found prior were likely another cats.
Within a week, I secured Artemis's last two kittens, and they were all vetted and fixed. Despite their time in my care, they never fully warmed up people and remained feral. I didn’t feel comfortable returning her and her kittens to the wild, thus, the "quads" will remain in our care and join the sanctuary ensuring they are looked after and safe.
Fluffber (Top left), Miss Sparkles (Top right), Silver jr (Bottom left), and Blinky Von Spitz (Bottom right); AKA “the quads” are the babies of feral cat Artemis. They unfortunately were caught a little too late to be completely socialized but were too tame to live as feral. They currently live with me as semi feral backyard cats.

Rascal was the first to be caught and successfully joined us on the very first day. However, it took a bit longer to catch Cleo and Toots. The rooftop hideout posed quite a challenge for us. After several days of patience and persistence we finally brought them into our care. Initially, it took a few weeks for them to adjust but once they did, they blossomed into wonderful companions.
Shortly after their rescue, Cleo faced some health challenges. A visit to the vet revealed she had a urinary tract infection and heart murmur, necessitating further evaluation by a cardiologist. Meanwhile, Toots developed what appears to be a neurological condition and will also require a specialist's attention. Despite these hurdles we remain hopeful for their recovery and provide them with the best care possible. Their journey has only just begun and we’re committed to ensuring a bright future for these precious “Floofs.”

Introducing Meowdas and Magnolia! These two delightful kittens were discovered crying during a storm. A kind-hearted Good Samaritan came to Magnolia's rescue with providing her with a soothing bath and a warm meal. Later that night, she heard another kitten's cries echoing outside but was unable to find him. The following day luck was on her side! She located Meowdas and brought him into safety.
Once in our care both kittens quickly proved to be exceptionally friendly and affectionate. They received spaying, neutering, and thorough veterinary care, Meowdas and Magnolia have since been adopted and are doing fantastically.
