Our Mission
At Smiley Tales, our mission is to provide education to the community while we rescue, rehabilitate, spay or neuter, and rehome abandoned animals, all while ensuring they receive the love and second chances they deserve. We are also committed to enhancing the lives of community cats through TNR programs.
In Memoery of Marlene Wyneken
There is nothing cuter than a kitten!
As my late Great Grandmother Marlene Wyneken would always say "there is nothing cuter than a kitten." The only thing she loved more than her cat Misty was watching and playing with the many kittens I would bring in to foster. With every new foster I bring in since her passing all I can think about is how much she would have enjoyed interacting with them and pointing out how special each one of them is. This memory fund has been set up in her name so that all the kitties that she didn't get to meet will get to experience the same love and care she would have given them.
